Traci leads a small team of dedicated traumatologists who care deeply about recovery from complex trauma. Her professional time is split between leading groups/classes, training student practitioners & other professionals, and publishing materials - making provision for patients who will need this information and care in the years to come. Traci has worked in the field since 1992, both in the UK and the USA, in diverse settings such as foster care, veteran’s services, home health care, residential programs, juvenile diversion, and assertive community treatment. She also spent many years as a clinical supervisor in various outpatient settings.
Long before the ICD-11 recognized the diagnosis of CPTSD, Traci understood that successful resolution of CPTSD required more than treatment as usual. She engaged in practice-based research through thousands of interactions with survivors, eventually building highly regarded trauma and couples programs.
During the early days of Vibrant Health Company, Traci continued to teach group and individual fitness in the community and beyond, building a loyal following for her unique, body-positive-focused classes. Take a peek at what is on offer on our community page. After spending years teaching, refereeing, and competing in hard-style martial arts, Traci sought board certification in Tai Chi and Qi Gong and established the Marquette Tai Chi Club, which now meets twice weekly in Marquette. Bodywork in its various forms and expressive arts make Vibrant Health Company a standout in combining mind-body techniques.
