Community Tai Chi Qigong Classes

Community Tai Chi Qigong Classes

The gentle movement practices known as Tai Chi and Qigong (TCQG) are based on ancient Taoist philosophies that promote longevity, health, vitality, and well-being. These practices focus on harnessing energy (Chi) and breath (Qi) and are thought to date back to at least the eighth century BCE in China. Because they are intuitive medicine, they are known as internal arts. TCQG is reparative, therapeutic, cathartic, and transformational. Robust evidence exists for this medical exercise, often called meditation in motion.

Workshops
Training for Social Workers

Training for Social Workers

Field Practicum and Advanced Praxis instruction are Dr. Baxendale Ball's signature pedagogy, delivered through immersive, experiential, collaborative, small-group learning opportunities and residency. Foci include complex trauma, couples, sex therapy, and somatics. MSW students, LLMSW, MSW, and DSW practitioners can apply for residency at any time.

Starting in Fall 2026, it is our policy to limit the number of graduate students placed at VHC to one per year, making this placement highly competitive. Prospective interns must be on a development plan to specialize in the treatment of adults with CPTSD. You can submit a letter of inquiry along with your CV by using the 'Contact Us' form.

Vibrant Health Company is committed to providing a legacy of learning for social workers and allied professionals. Integrating somatic and expressive arts into your practice is shown to improve client outcomes and reduce professional burnout.

We coach, speak, mentor, and consult with individuals and organizations seeking innovative solutions for trauma-specific treatment. We offer monthly learning labs for Trauma-Focused, Person-centered Somatic and Expressive Arts Therapies and Tai Chi Qigong for Recovery certificate programs.

Use our contact page to enquire about dates. In the future, these programs will be available for self-paced learning. CEU’s pending.
